How it works · research beta
Pot is a game about building a savings habit. You're given a simulated financial life, and you practise saving out of it — with a weekly prize draw to make it fun. No real money is involved.
This is a research pilot.Everything is simulated — no real banking, no card details, no real payouts. We're studying whether a game like this helps people save more. By joining you become a Founding Member and agree to take part in the research. You can leave any time.

When you join, you spin a wheel and get dealt a profession — bartender, nurse, engineer, and so on. That fixes a simulated income and rent. It's the same idea as a board game: everyone gets a different starting hand.
Each pay period your wallet is topped up with your simulated income, and rent + everyday essentials are taken out automatically. What's left is yours to spend or save — a real budget, not infinite money.
Move money from your wallet into your Pot. Your Pot is your savings — it only ever goes up while it's saved, and you can withdraw it back to your wallet whenever you like. Saving is the whole point.
The more you save, the more entries you earn for the weekly prize draw. Entries are just odds — playing the arcade games stakes entries, never your savings. You can never lose the money in your Pot. Ever.
Every week we run a provably-fair prize draw across everyone's entries. Win or not, your savings are untouched. It's a no-loss prize draw: the upside of a lottery, none of the downside.
The one rule that never bends
The money in your Pot is always safe. Games and draws only ever move entries (your odds) — never your savings.
